Do guests need to download an app or create an account?

No. Guests open a link — like photogroups.app/priya-sunny — in any browser, type their name, and instantly see their group. No install, no sign-in, no friction.

Is this really a one-time $25 with no subscription?

Yes. You pay once and that's it — no monthly fee and no "per-guest" pricing. $25 covers your couple link, admin dashboard, and full group management for the entire event. The only optional extra is a $10 notifications add-on if you'd like to send guests automated reminders.

Can I edit groups after uploading?

Yes. Log into your dashboard any time before the event and edit names or groups directly, or re-upload an updated CSV. Changes go live the moment you save.

What format does my spreadsheet need to be in?

Whatever you've got. The simplest is a CSV with Name and Group columns (download the template from your dashboard), but with Smart Import you can also upload an Excel file, a photo or screenshot of your list, or a PDF — our AI reads it, cleans up names, phones, and emails, and sorts everyone into groups for you to review. Most couples are live in under 5 minutes.

Can I upload a photo, screenshot, Excel file, or PDF of my list?

Yes. Smart Import on your dashboard accepts CSV, Excel (.xlsx), plain text, images/screenshots, and PDFs. The AI extracts every name and group, normalizes phone numbers and emails, keeps people who appear in multiple groups (like the couple), and never merges two different people who happen to share a name — then loads everything into the editor so you can review before saving.

Is guest data kept private?

Yes. Guests can only search — they can't browse the full list. Your admin dashboard is private and never visible to guests — you sign in with a one-time code sent to your email, so there's no password to manage or leak. All guest data is automatically deleted after your event date, so there's nothing to clean up.

What if my guest list changes closer to the wedding?

Just log back in and re-upload an updated CSV or edit manually. The guest link stays the same — there's nothing to resend. Changes are instant.

Can my wedding planner manage this instead of me?

Absolutely. Share your admin login with your planner and they can handle everything — uploading groups, making edits, and sharing the link. Many planners upload the final groups the night before and never involve the couple at all.
